(Copying a post from another site, where I play Rems, if that's okay. I can do another one, if you prefer. This is set as if he has just returned from Antartica-exile.
The night was dark. The moon and stars hid behind heavy clouds, and the darkness suited Remy LeBeau's mood perfectly. All that was visable of him was his red eyes, small glowing spots of red against the otherwise-black world.
He was silently sitting near the pool, on one of the chairs that filled the patio, beneath an unneeded unbrella that covered the table he was near.
He had in his hands a well-worn deck of cards, and he was gazing down at them, able to see them in the darkness, due to his mutation. He absently shuffled them, and spread out a game of solitaire on the glass-topped table.
There were more people here, now. More that he'd known, before. So far, he'd escaped encounters with them. He couldn't keep it up for long, though. It was a big house, but not that big.
Sooner or later, he'd have to explain how he'd survived. How could he explain that he wasn't entirely sure? That most of it was a blur..?
He moved a ten onto a Jack, and revealed a Queen. The Queen of Hearts. He swore and abruptly swept the cards into a pile, and began shuffling them again, this time faster, obvious frustration in the motion.
Rogue.
She was here - he'd heard rumor that she was back.
He hoped not to encounter her for awhile - what the heck was he going to say? Sorry, your attempt to rid the world of Remy LeBeau failed. I'm still alive. I hate you. I still love you.
His thoughts were shattered as the darkenss shattered, the porch light flashing on abruptly. He rose a hand, shielding his sensitive eyes, and squinting towards the door, wondering who intended to go for a late night swim.

Code Name: Gambit
Powers:
- Kenetic Energy Charge (The ability to turn his movement into energy, which he can charge items with. When charged, they explode with carying levels of force.)
- Empathy (The ability to sense, alter, and effect the emotions of others.)
- Enhanced Agility
- Enhanced vision (can see in the dark nearly-perfectly, and can see other lights that normal humans cannot. This makes his eyes very sensitive to sunlight and/or other bright lights, though.)
