Bobby lay in his bed and stared up at the ceiling. The door was left opened just enough so that a thin ray of light filtered into his eyes. Thoughts raced through his head. "Why the cure? When will they come? Will they come?" He didn't know but it was going to happen eventually.

Jubilee bounded up to the door of Bobby's dorm and knocked on it several times. "Bobby? Is Rogue in there?" she called through, half-singing. "I've got a homework question for her."

Bobby sat up and opened the door a little wider. "No." he replied. "Haven't seen her that much lately."

"Aw, why not?" Jubilee questioned, bounding into the room. She had a tendency to pry at people's personal lives, after all. "You okay, Bobby?" she added.

Jubilee took a seat in a chair, pulling it up to his bed, elbows on her knees, her chin in her hands. She gazed at him thoughfully before saying, "What kind of sh- uh, stuff?"

(umm what happened to me post??)
Blastman was gliding down the hall on a sheet of ice he made on the floor. He was going to his dorm room. As he was going he sensed another ice mutant nearby. This caused him to lose his concentration and he tumbled face first onto the floor right in front of the ice mutant's open door.
